My name is Tracy and I’m the brains behind this operation. My love of quilts started when I was a little girl. My mother moved back home to care for my grandmother who was in a wheelchair. My grandmother always had a quilted throw over her legs but the quilt I really fell in love with was at the foot of her bed. It was made from old clothes that she had pieced and stitched by hand. It wasn’t until I retired from the military that I put the knowledge I gained in the past and added today’s technology to create quilts for friends and family. Quilting became a therapy for me, but now it has become a passion.

Now, I love getting to help people’s ideas come to life. Together we can create timeless pieces of art that not only look beautiful but keep you warm.

We started Nic-kNacks because we understand every individual has a distinctive style. From hand-made pot holders, table runners, napkins, lap Quilts, throw pillows, wreaths, and personalized coasters, we create each piece with your individual taste and style in mind - the possibilities are endless. We can make your piece stand out by adding embroidery or create an item and complete it with embroidery. All of our pieces are handcrafted items designed with you in mind. At Nic-kNacks, we can take pictures and make them into quilted memories. You will be a part of the creativity and approve the design before we take your ideas and quilt it into a family keepsake or create a gift for a special occasion.
